Anyone know where I can get some Z scale handrails suitable for this bridge?
I thought I had something suitable from plastruct in my spares box, but I was wrong.
I suppose I could piece something together out of evergreen strip but an easier option would be nicer...
Would you prefer laser-cut wood or etched brass? There are quite a few options for etched brass; N scale ladder stock can work, or even N scale railing cut down shorter. If lasered wood is preferred, you could start with fence stock and cut it down to suit. A couple of laser outfits make fencing. Finally, you can make styrene railing starting with parts from a scaffolding kit, although this would be a bit pricier and may take longer to receive. Email me for more details if you like.

ReplyDeleteJust found what I thought I had. Some Plastruct N scale HIPS hand rail ref: HRS-2. Cut down it looks like it might be quite acceptable. I need three packs of it and I only have one length...
